Lever Smith passed away on April 26, 2005 at VCU Medical Center in Richmond , Virginia.  He was employed by the City of Fredericksburg and the FMC Corporation.   Among his survivors were his parents, his grandmother, one  brother, two sisters, two sons, and one daughter.
