Donald H. Schiel  died unexpectedly at his home in Spotsylvania on Friday, October 28, 2011.  Donald grew up in Massaponax , where he helped his father operate Schiel's garage.  He was the owner of Don's Trucking and a member of Spotswood Baptist Church, Fredericksburg Moose Lodge 1655, Fredericksburg Elks Lodge 875, and Fredericksburg Eagles Lodge 4123. 

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Diana  Adair Schiel, one daughter , two grand-daughters, one sister, and one brother.
