Michael Edward Marshall, Sr., 51, of Spotsylvania died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at the home of his mother. Prior to his illness, he had been an attendant at the Thornburg Shell station. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Berkley Hunt Club.

Among his survivors were his mother, one son, and two grandchildren.
